UPSC CDS 2 final result 2023 released @upsc.gov.in; check direct link here

UPSC CDS II Final Result 2024 has been released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) at upsc.gov.in. Candidates who appeared in the exam can download the result pdf from the official website

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the results for the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) II 2023 on April 22, 2024. Candidates who had appeared for the examination can check and download their results from the official website:upsc.gov.in.

According to the official notice, “Verification of date of birth and educational qualifications of these candidates is still under process by the Army Headquarters. The candidature of all these candidates is, therefore, Provisional on this score. Candidates are requested to forward their certificates, in original, in support of Date of Birth/Educational qualification etc. claimed by them, along with Photostat attested copies thereof to Army Headquarters /Naval Headquarters /Air Headquarters, as per their first choice.”

As per the results, a total of 197 candidates have been selected for recruitment to various defence posts. The UPSC CDS II 2023 Final result has been prepared based on the scores obtained in the CDS II 2023 Examination held in September 2023 and the SSB interviews held by the Services Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence for admission to the 157th (DE) Course of Indian Military Academy, Dehradun; Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala and Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course.

You will be able to check and download your UPSC CDS II 2023 Result by following the below-mentioned steps:

Step 1: First, visit the official website at upsc.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, navigate to the link that reads ‘Combined Defence Service Examination Final Result 2023’.

Step 3: Click on that link.

Step 4: UPSC CDS 2 final result PDF will be displayed on your screen.

Step 5: Check the roll number and names of the shortlisted candidates.

Step 6: Download the result for your future reference.

Earlier, UPSC had released the number of vacancies available for recruitment through the UPSC CDS II 2023. According to it, there are 100 vacancies for Indian Military Academy [including 13 vacancies reserved for NCC ‘C’ Certificates (Army Wing) holders], 32 for Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala Executive Branch (General Service)/Hydro [including 06 vacancies for NCC ‘C’ Certificate (Naval Wing through NCC Special Entry) holders] and 32 for Air Force Academy, Hyderabad [03 vacancies are reserved for NCC’ C’ Certificate (Air Wing) holders through NCC Spl. Entry].

The Commission had recommended 2675, 0970 and 0622 as qualified in the written test for admission to the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy, respectively. The number of candidates who finally qualified is those after the SSB test conducted by Army Head Quarters.
