The Gujarat Police Force Recruitment Board released the Gujarat Police Recruitment 2024 Notice for 12472 vacancies for SI and Constable Posts on March 12, 2024. The notice is available on its official website, ojas.gujarat.gov.in

The Gujarat Police Force Recruitment Board released a short notice PDF for Gujarat Police Recruitment 2024 on March 12, 2024, on its official website at ojas.gujarat.gov.in.

The Board is recruiting candidates for the 12472 vacancies of SI and Constable posts.

The Gujarat Police Recruitment 2024 online registration schedule will be released soon. Applicants who are eligible may submit their application before the registration deadline.

There are 316 vacancies available for the post of Unarmed Police Sub Inspector (Male) and 156 vacancies open under the category of Unarmed Police Sub Inspector (Female). There are 4422 slots available for the position of Unarmed Police Constable (Male) and 2178 positions available for the position of Unarmed Police Constable (Female). 2212 vacancies are open for the position of Armed Police Constable (Male) and there are 1090 Armed Police Constable (Female) vacancies available. Another 1000 vacancies are open under the Armed Police Constable (SRPF) position. There are 1035 Jail Sepoy (Male) vacancies available and 85 Jail Sepoy (Female) vacancies available.

The eligibility criteria to be fulfilled by the candidates who apply for Gujarat Police Recruitment 2024 are different for Constable positions as opposed to sub-inspector positions. For Constable positions, applicants must be between 18 to 35 years of age and have passed 10+2 from a recognized education Board. For Sub Inspector positions, candidates must be between 20 to 35 years of age and possess a Bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognized University.

There is a three-year age relaxation for OBC candidates and a five-year relaxation for SC and ST candidates.

For now, only the notification release date has been confirmed by the Gujarat Police Force Recruitment Board. The details of when the application process will start and end are yet to be announced. However, when applications do begin, one can follow the below-mentioned procedure to fill out the application form for the Gujarat Police Recruitment 2024:

Step 1: Visit the official website at ojas.gujarat.gov.in.

Step 2: Go to the “Recruitment” Section available on the home screen.

Step 3: In the latest notification section, click on the ‘Police Notification PDF’ and then click on the “Apply Online” tab.

Step 4: Register by providing basic details such as email ID and phone number.

Step 5: Login using registration credentials and fill in the information required.

Step 6: Upload all mentioned documents in the prescribed format.

Step 7: Pay the application fee of Rs. 100 (only for those in the General category).

Step 8: Click on the ‘Final Submit’ button and take a printout of the application form for future reference.

The Gujarat Police Recruitment 2024 selection process will comprise four stages – Stage 1 will be a Physical Efficiency Test and a Physical Standard Test, Stage 2 will be a Written Exam, Stage 3 will be a Medical Examination and the last Stage will consist of Document Verification.
