“The Narendra Modi led government is committed to the growth and happiness of Chhattisgarh, the children of Chhattisgarh are the biggest asset of the State; hence the priority of the double engine government is to fulfill the “Guarantees of Modi” via schemes like PM Shri, Samagra Siksha or PM Poshan”, said Pradhan in a tweet.

Further, while thanking the State government for the promotion and inclusion of regional languages in education, Pradhan said that providing education in Indian languages is vested in the spirit of the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and I expect that the Chhattisgarh government will execute and implement all the aspect of the NEP from the next academic session at a lightning speed.

PM Shri Yojna

It is to be noted that earlier, the Union Government, while announcing the scheme had informed that it had allocated a fund of Rs 27,360 crore to upgrade selected numbers of schools across the nation under the flagship PM Shri Yojna. The government had also informed us that it intends to upgrade as many as two schools in a block as model schools, which will include concepts such as ‘balvatika’ that have been introduced in the NEP in lines of the play schools.

A total of 14,500 schools across the country have been identified and are being upgraded according to the modern needs under the flagship scheme. The students of these schools will also be provided with the opportunity to enrol in local businesses for internships and opportunities of entrepreneurship. The student of these selected schools will also be provided with business education with an aim to enhance their skill set at an early age.
