The girl’s brother raised concerns about the police’s initial response to her disappearance, accusing them of carelessness and failure to open a case promptly. Seeking assistance from Hindu organisations, including Karni Sena, he applied pressure on the police. Subsequently, the missing girl was located and returned to her family.
The brother revealed that a group of individuals had abducted his sister after deceiving her on the fateful day. He expressed dissatisfaction with the police’s initial handling of the case, alleging negligence and extortion attempts by the police station in charge, Manoj.
Hindu groups have voiced their discontent with the police’s attitude and demanded disciplinary action against the relevant personnel. Additionally, they have issued warnings of staging a protest at the police station if corrective measures are not promptly implemented.
The victim’s father filed a First Information Report (FIR) based on information provided by the police, who claimed that they initiated the inquiry only after the case was officially filed. The ongoing investigation aims to unveil the full details of the love jihad case and bring all involved perpetrators to justice.
