Controversial figure Maulana Tauqeer Raza has once again stirred up a storm with his provocative remarks, declaring his intention to launch a street battle over the disputed structure at Gyanvapi. Addressing a Muslim panchayat convened by the Ittehad-e-Millat Council (IMC) at Aiwan-e-Ghalib Hall in Delhi on Monday, Raza asserted that Muslims are unwilling to concede any mosque, regardless of the outcome of surveys, in reference to the Mathura and Kashi issues.

Raza, known for his contentious statements, went on to criticise the Supreme Court’s decision on the Ram Mandir, branding it as dishonest. The inflammatory remarks were made during his speech on December 18.

During the panchayat, Maulana Tauqeer Raza emphasised, “After Babri mosque, it is enough. We showed patience with Babri. We will not show any patience with Gyanvapi. Inshallah, this battle will be fought on the streets.” He called lawyer Mehmood Pracha onto the stage, describing him as a fighter in the court, and expressed his intention to take to the streets with supporters.

Tauqeer Raza continued his provocative stance, insisting that Muslims must demonstrate their intolerance towards any encroachment on their religious sites. He cited the Ayodhya dispute, declaring, “Now we say that our faith is above the court because we have once seen the dishonesty of the court.”

The controversial figure also warned that if Muslims fail to express their unrest, structures like Gyanvapi could meet the same fate as Babri. Maulana Tauqeer Raza added, “After Gyanvapi, the mosques of Mathura and Badaun will be taken away from Muslims. Jama Masjid will also be attacked in the coming time. Somewhere Muslims will have to stand up and speak their mind.”

In conclusion, Tauqeer, citing his ‘experience,’ remarked that this was not a time for speeches but a time of pain for those present at the meeting. He accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of employing divisive tactics to rule the country. The inflammatory statements have reignited concerns over communal tensions, with the controversial remarks from Maulana Tauqeer Raza now under scrutiny.
