Therefore, a detailed discussion on revamping the training programme took place during the Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal of RSS Baithak that is being held in Bharuch, Gujarat.
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is gearing up to overhaul its training programmes, aligning them more closely with the changing needs of society and its volunteers. This major transformation in the organisation comes almost a century after its establishment and was discussed in detail during the ongoing meeting in Bharuch, Gujarat.
According to the new curriculum, the RSS will not only provide general training to its volunteers but will also offer specialised training in areas where individuals show a keen interest. This means that those who have expertise in a particular field or are passionate about something will receive tailored training to excel in their chosen areas of service.
One of the notable changes is the rebranding of the training courses. The first-year training course will now be known as “Pramukh,” while the second-year will be called “Karyakarta Vikas Varg – Pratham,” and the third-year will be named “Karyakarta Vikas Varg – Dwitiya.”
Furthermore, the duration of the first-year course, “Pramukh,” will be reduced from 20 days to 15 days, addressing the time constraints faced by volunteers involved in medical, IT, management, and related fields. This adjustment aims to ensure that volunteers in these areas can also receive training.
The new training programmes are expected to be implemented starting with the 2024 training sessions. The initial three days of training, referred to as the “Prarambhik Sangh Shiksha Varg,” have already commenced in certain regions.
These changes are designed to enhance the training experience for RSS volunteers, aligning it more closely with their interests and expertise. The formal announcement of these changes is expected to take place at the RSS National Council Meeting, either this year or the next, following discussions at the All India Executive Committee Meeting.
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is taking bold steps to adapt to the evolving needs of its volunteers and to equip them with the skills and knowledge required to make a meaningful impact on society.
