Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) leader Chirag Paswan minced no words as he lashed at the I.N.D.I.A alliance. Chirag Paswan questioned them as to what did they discuss in the meeting of the coordination committee.

On the coordination committee meeting, LJP chief Chirag Paswan said, “…The Opposition can do whatever they want to but first, they must at least make their policies & intention clear…Did the coordination committee also discuss the Sanatana Dharma (remark) that sparked controversy?… If they want the support of the public they will have to tell the public what they can do for them & most important for them is to clear their stance on Sanatana Dharma…”

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing a massive gathering at Bina in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh, accused the INDIA bloc of having an agenda to end the country’s ‘Sanatana’ culture.“At a time when Bharat is emerging as a world leader at global forums, some parties are trying to divide the country and its people. These people came together to form an ‘INDI’ alliance. Some people are calling it a ‘ghamndiya (arrogant) alliance’. They don’t have a leader yet and there is a lot of suspense on who would lead them going into the Lok Sabha elections next year. They are working with a hidden agenda, which is to attack India’s culture,” PM Modi said.

He alleged that the Opposition bloc, at its third meeting in Mumbai, adopted a resolution to “end the Santana culture” in the country. “This I.N.D.I.A alliance adopted a resolution to end our ‘Sanatana’ culture. They are bent on destroying the ideologies, cultures and traditions that have kept the country and our people together for centuries,” PM Modi added.

Lately, the anti-Sanatana Dharma rant is on the rise and it started with the remarks made by Tamil Nadu’s Sports Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin who at a gathering had said that the Sanatana Dharma should be eradicated the way dengue and malaria are rooted out.

Speaking on similar lines, DMK leader and member of parliament, A Raja had compared Sanatana Dharma to deadly diseases like HIV, AIDS and leprosy. He also said, “India is responsible for the global disease called caste. India divides people on the basis of caste. Using the caste, people are divided economically. Caste is not only used to create social instability, but also economic imparity is caused by it. Indians living abroad also spread caste in the name of Hinduism. Not only for India, but Hindu religion is danger to entire world.”
