On August 21, the Left-propaganda website ‘The Wire’ posted a story about a Church, claiming the members of the Hindu organisation, Bajrang Dal barged into it and tore pages of the Bible, attacked Catholics and much more. Contrary to the allegations made by ‘The Wire’ the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) claimed that the members accidentally reached the colony, celebrating the Rakshabandhan festival and found illegal prayers being organised in a house. Condemning the article by ‘The Wire’ the VHP slammed the portal with harsh truth.

Claims in The Wire’s report

As per the report, on August 20, when members of the Christian community were praying at the Siyyon Prarthna Bhawan in Delhi’s Tahirpur area, members of the Hindu community entered the hall and attacked the people with chants of ‘Hindu Rashtra’ and ‘Jai Shri Ram’.

The report alleges that the Hindu activists allegedly attacked the Christians for assembling at the hall — which they called a ‘Church’.

The eyewitnesses, maximum Christian as quoted in the report, have made bizarre allegations like, ‘ye desh ab dharm nirpeksh nahi raha’ to ‘this country is not safe anymore’ and many like these.

Shockingly, an FIR has been registered under Sections 323, 452, 295, 295A, 296, 297, 298, 354, 153A, and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against the alleged attackers by the Delhi police.

What says the VHP?

Speaking with Organiser on August 22, the national spokesperson of the VHP, Vinod Bansal said, “It was not a Church but a house. The members of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal were distributing Raksha Sutra in the locality when they encountered a Changai Sabha (Prayer meeting),”

He added, “The Missionary Conversion is rampant in the country, anyone and everyone opposing it will have to face the repercussions. This case is one among many registered against the volunteers of Bajrang Dal, under false charges”.

Targeting, the propaganda news portal ‘The Wire’ he said, “Portals like The Wire and their likes have always been there to whitewash the activities by groups working against Sanatan Dharma. It is not their fault, they are just running their narrative, we should be the ones bringing the truth out”.

He added, like other parts of the country, the capital city, Delhi is also witnessing a rising number of conversion cases, which go unchecked due to the lack of a dedicated law. The Kejriwal government turns a blind eye to every crime against Hindus, it is only the Modi government that can make a law for Delhi like, the ones in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and others.

He added, “Just like the GTB Enclave area, a similar prayer was organised, a day before in the Mehrauli area. There too, the residents accused Bajrang Dal of ransacking their property and others”.

He added a widespread protest was organised on August 22, outside the GTB Enclave police station against the unjustified police action.

He also spoke about pastor Bajinder Singh, known for his videos where he can be seen healing people with a touch and chant of ‘Yesu’ (Jesus). Bansal said, some days earlier, Bajinder Singh was caught organising massive gatherings in parts of Delhi and the natives realised only after thousands of people started assembling at a hall, calling it a Church. Activities like this keep flourishing under Kejriwal and with support of portals like ‘The Wire’.

What says the press note by VHP?

On August 21, following the FIRs and report by ‘The Wire’, the VHP issued a press note.

The note says, “The Christians organise Healing Meetings, so as to convert innocent Hindus to Christianity across the country. Such meetings are being organised in Delhi in large numbers but the Kejriwal government is not ready to take action against it.”

“In the said healing meetings, the Missionary representatives provide drugs and medication to people with ailments and ask them to come to Jesus. On August 20, the members of Bajrang Dal were distributing Raksha Sutra and then they found a large number of people assembled in a hall, in the name of a healing meeting. As soon as the organiser’s found out about the presence of Hindu activists they dispersed the mob and accused Bajrang Dal of attacking them instead”.

The note concludes with a demand, that the government should identify places and houses which are running in the name of the Church and are organising such illegal conversion activities. This should end and a strict law should come in place.

The note also stated that providing medication or drugs by promoting miraculous activities linked with any religion or god is illegal and should get banned.

‘Hindus attacked Muslims in Mewat’

Other than the GTB Enclave Christian scuffle, The Wire’s report also mentions the ‘attack on Muslims by Hindus in Mewat’.

Readers should know that Organiser is in possession with as many as 15 FIRs registered after the attacks took place in the Islamised Nuh district of Haryana. Reports have proved how Islamists planned and executed this attack, there are voice recordings and clippings available. However, The Wire, shamelessly claims that it was the Hindus who attacked the Muslims in Mewat.

A similar report was published by a left-propaganda website, The Quint, where their reporter claimed that, ‘Hindus set ablaze the shops os Hindus’. Organiser did a fact-check and all the allegations turned out to be false. The quoted individuals in the report, shared videos with Organiser, where they claimed that the journalist lured them with restoration money for saying against Hindus.

This indeed puts a question mark on the so-called ethics and journalism of these websites, who will post anything suiting their propaganda, without bothering to verify.
