Bhopal: ‘Out of 220 million, even if one or two million from the 220 million are lost, it won’t matter,’ stated former Governor and senior Congress figure, Aziz Qureshi. The former Governor’s remarks have raised eyebrows and caused a stir, positioning him at the forefront of current discourse. In a statement that has captured attention across the nation, Qureshi underscored his disregard for potential losses within a significant demographic.

Amid this backdrop, Aziz Qureshi’s name is now associated with controversy rather than statesmanship. His assertion about Congress leaders adopting slogans like “Jai Ganga Maiya, Jai Narmada Maiya” highlights his deep-seated concerns about the party’s trajectory.

Qureshi’s bold demeanor was palpable as he conveyed, “I have no shame in saying anything. Even if the party chooses to remove me, it’s a matter of survival.” These statements were delivered during his address in Vidisha, the historical capital of Madhya Pradesh, setting a significant tone for what followed.

However, the initial controversial statement was just the beginning of Qureshi’s discourse. As he delved deeper into his address, his words grew more provocative, inviting further scrutiny. While delivering a speech on stage, Aziz Qureshi says, “We will tolerate up to a certain extent. You can burn our homes and markets, set their shops on fire, disgrace their mothers, orphan their children, wipe off the vermillion from the foreheads of our married women, break the bangles of our sisters’ hands. We will endure up to a limit, but when the water crosses the line, Muslims won’t be wearing bangles in their hands. Out of 220 million, even if one or two million from the 220 million are lost, it won’t matter.”

Senior leader of the Congress party and former governor, Aziz Qureshi, has targeted his own party. Aziz Qureshi criticized the Congress party for aligning with soft Hindutva in Madhya Pradesh. He said Saying Ganga maa ki jai,  Narmada ki jai”  is a matter of shame. Former governor Aziz Qureshi targeted his own party, the Congress. Qureshi has criticized the Congress party for embracing soft Hindutva in Madhya Pradesh.

It’s worth noting that in a video of Aziz Qureshi’s speech, he can be heard saying, “Today, the inheritors of Jawaharlal Nehru, the Congress people, are organising religious journeys. Proudly saying that we are Hindus. They are placing idols in the PCC office in Bhopal.” Aziz Qureshi also highlighted in the video that the fight today is against hunger and unemployment.

Former Governor Aziz Qureshi, speaking in a firm tone, stated that to all the political parties, including Congress to which I also belong, I want to convey in clear terms that Muslims are not your slaves. Understand well that Muslims won’t follow your orders and won’t be subdued by your authority. Why should Muslims vote for you when you don’t provide jobs, you don’t recruit in the police, army, or navy? Then why should Muslims vote for you?
