Delhi Police nabs 3 accused in cases of stabbing and loot within 10 hours of commiting crime

The Delhi Police quickly swung into action and nabbed the three accused who were involved in three different incidents of stabbing and loot in Sagarpur area of south west Delhi

Technology and intelligence inputs played a pivotal role in arresting three accused from South west Delhi who were involved in cases of stabbing and loot. The Delhi Police has been able to recover the vehicles used in the crime along with the knife and the cash that was looted by the culprits.

Briefing the mediapersons about the crime, Deputy Commssioner Police of South West Delhi Manoj C said that around 5:17 they received a call on their PCR van with regard to a case of stabbing and loot in Sagarpur area. The police got to know that a 54 year old man Ashok was stabbed and the culprits ran away with his possessions. On the bike there were three boys.

Within a span of next five to ten minutes, these boys were involved in two more cases of theft once again in the Sagarpur area. The second victim is a senior citiozen whose name is Mohan Lal Chhabra and is 74 years old and the third victim is Om Dutt Simgh who is 76 years old.

According to DCP Manoj C when Mohan Lal Chabra was taken to the hospital where he was declared dead. Meanwhile, the other two victims Ashok and Om Dutt Singh, their condition is stable, however, they have been discharged from the hospital.

Delhi Police swings into Action

DCP Manoj C said that the police reached the crime spot and started the probe. The police registered three cases. One of the cases was related to robbery and loot while the other was registered under section 302 and 394.

The police used technical intelligence to nab the culprits and this helped them to quickly get the leads. One lead the human intelligent staff of the special team was able to get and according to it, one of the boys was apparently in the Palam area. The special team swung into action and raided the area. The police were successful in nabbing one of the culprits who was involved in committing the crime.

The first accused was Akshay who was nabbed from Palam and the police interrogated him. During the interrogation , he told the whereabouts of the other two accused also. One of them was Sonu. Soon the police was able to nab all the three accused in the crime and they had successfully recovered all the stuff that was looted, the bike and the knife that was used in the crime.
