Bihar’s education minister and RJD leader, Chandrashekhar Yadav, is always surrounded by controversy due to his statements. Now Pandit Dheerendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham is his target.
Earlier, he gave a controversial statement on Ramcharitmanas and called it garbage.

Notably, his comment came on the due arrival of Shastri on May 13.
He said, “If Baba Bageshwar comes to conduct malicious work, Bihar will not allow it to happen. If he has come to promote hatred, even Advani went to jail, and others will go also. Bageshwar Baba, or any other Baba, posses no magic or supernatural powers”.

Furthermore, Chandrashekhar claimed that individuals like Pandit Dheerendra Krishna Shastri conduct their business in the name of religion.

The Bageshwar Dham Temple is located in the Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh and is dedicated to Bhagwan Hanumanji. Dheerendra Krishna Shastri is the temple’s head priest (Mahant), also known as “Bageshwar Dham Sarkar”.

Notably, Tej Pratap Yadav, the leader of the RJD, is also against the head priest. He recently threatened to arrest Shastri at the airport. Additionally, he provided images of Dharmnirpeksha Sevak Sangh (DSS) volunteers going through ‘training’. The volunteers could be seen carrying green flags and lathis.

Earlier on January 11 2023, Chandrashekhar made controversial remarks when addressing the 15th convocation ceremony of Nalanda Open University (NOU). “Ramcharitmanas was opposed because it said that the lower section of society becomes poisonous if they get educated. Books like Ramcharitmanas, Manusmriti and MS Golwalkar’s Bunch of Thoughts created a social divide”.

RJD’s Chandrashekhar and Tej Pratap were challenged by former deputy chief minister of Bihar and BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi to speak out against proponents of Islam and Christianity in a similar way.

Additionally, he demanded that RJD leader Jagadanand Singh be held accountable for his earlier remarks that the Ram Temple in Ayodhya was being constructed on the site of hatred and action should be taken against him.

Notably, Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri will travel to Bihar on May 13 to give a speech in Naubatpur, Patna. It is anticipated that thousands of devotees will travel from Jharkhand and Bihar.
