Additional Director General Police (ADGP Intelligence) T K Vinod Kumar, in Kerala is under strict observation in the wake of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s security plan leakage. The Union Home Ministry has taken it seriously. Ministry is highly likely to seek the report from ADGP.

It is reported that 43 officers had received ADGP’s report. Primary enquiry, it is reported, suggests that the plan was leaked from an ADGP. It said that it was leaked through a Deputy superintendent of police (DYSP) close to the ADGP. There are reports that the cold war among the ADGPs could be a reason for this. Police have not confirmed the rumours which are doing the rounds.

Meanwhile, police have taken into custody Xavier, Kochi, who had allegedly shot the threat letter to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) office that a suicide bomber would attack the PM during his Kerala visit.

BJP has alleged that the leakage of the Security Plan and the details of the threat letter is the deliberate plan of Communist Party of India (CPM) to defeat YUVAM 2023, the youth conclave PM addressed on April 24.
