For the readers, this month in Uttar Pradesh a woman killed herself after her stalker barged into her house and threatened her saying if she dare leave him he will get her killed.

A 20-year-old woman identified as Manorama Devi killed herself after stalker Mohammad Shamshad threatened her. Manorama who belongs to the Harijan jati was getting married to a man from her community the next month.

However, Shamshad never approved of the alliance, he barged into her house and tried to attack her. When one of her brothers went to register a police complaint he threatened of killing him as well, ultimately Manorama quit.

Not a single activist or self-proclaimed Dalit leader spoke a word about this death. Their propaganda works only if the accused is Hindu. In case the situation is the opposite, they keep mum, continuing their ‘Bheem-Meem’ unity.
