The murders of minority Hindus and Sindhis living in Pakistan are at an all-time high. On April 8, a severed body of this youth was recovered from the Hyderabad road stop in Maatli near the village Tamachi Jheju of the Sindh province in Pakistan. A First Information Report was registered against one Imran Shah and an unidentified accused.
Notably, a severed body of a 28-year-old Young Hindu Boy Narsing Kohli was found in the region. The police began investigations after which a mobile phone was recovered from near the dead body. It belonged to one Imran Shah.
After the phone was recovered the local Sindhi and Hindu activists began protesting and demanded the arrest of the accused. The protesters chanted slogans like, “Kamchori Band Karo”.
The protestors including members of the Pakistan Dravid Ittehad also blocked the Matli Hyderabad Road.

Shiva Kachhi, chairman and founder of the minority rights organisation in Sindh shared the First Information Report of the said incident with Organiser Weekly.
As per the FIR (number–72/2023) registered at the Malti police station of the Badin district on April 7.
Narsing Kohli was found dead at the Hyderabad road stop in Maatli near the village Tamachi Jheju. The victim’s family told the police that Narsing used to drive a rickshaw, but he was missing since April 6.
They claimed that Narsimg was brutally tortured and killed the Matli police say they are investigating.
As per the FIR the accused have been booked under 302 (murder), 392 (robbery) and 34 (act done by several people with common intention) of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) have been registered.
As per the victim’s father, a torn shirt and the Identity of the killer Imran were recovered from near the dead body but the police took no action against him.
The protestors demand the arrest of the accused and claim that the condition of minority Hindus in Sindh and the whole of Pakistan is vulnerable. They also sought help from the International Human Rights organisation.
As these Sindhi Hindu youths are not only targeted for short-term profits or any personal enmity but for a larger cause and that is conversion, says Shiva Kachhi, a Hindu activist from Sindh, Pakistan.
