On March 31 at Gir Somnath, Islamists raised the radical Islamic slogan “sar tan se juda” while accusing Kajal Hindustani of delivering an anti-Muslim speech during the Ram Navami procession. Videos of the incident went viral on social media platforms. These were displayed in front of the police station.

According to reports, the Ram Navami procession (Shobha Yatra) took place on March 30. The parade was followed by a public assembly, during which political and social activist Kajal Hindustani was one of the speakers.

She discussed forced religious conversion, in which Hindu females are enticed into relationships with non-Hindu men who typically conceal their religious identity and eventually force them to adopt their faith, demography change in regions of India, and other topics.

The footage of her speech was posted on social media, prompting thousands of Islamists to protest on the streets. Protesters demanded action against Kajal while raising anti-beheading slogans. On March 31, a protest march demanding to behead took place.

The cops took action to maintain order. In response to the stone-throwing that followed a reconciliation meeting, the Una police arranged a meeting between the two communities. Yet, it resulted in additional arguments and tension in the region.

The shopkeepers shut down their businesses, and the market remained closed in numerous regions of the city.

Subsequently, Gir Somnath’s Superintendent of Police (SP) arrived and summoned five community leaders to the Circuit House. The police maintained heightened security throughout the weekend. SP’s meeting was ineffective, as the situation deteriorated again in the evening, leading to stone-throwing by miscreants in the Kumbharwada, Koliwada, and Chandrakiran regions.

They flung Coca-Cola bottles as well. The cops interfered once more to restore order.

Protests against Nupur Sharma and its aftermath in May 2022, following comments made during a debate on Times Now, former Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson Nupur Sharma fell under the Islamists’ surveillance. Nonetheless, she cited a passage from an Islamic scripture. During demonstrations, Islamists chanted “sar tan se juda.”

Mohammed Zubair, co-founder of Alt News, was instrumental in inciting protests against Sharma in India and overseas.

Hence, the BJP expelled her from the organisation. Islamists murdered numerous Hindus, including Kanhaiya Lal of Rajasthan and Umesh Kohle of Maharashtra, for supporting Nupur Sharma.

Sharma is currently in hiding, whereas Taslim Ahmed Rehmani, whose statement against Bhagwan Shiv enraged her during the debate, is free to wander the streets.
