Another Kashmiri Hindu Killed: Terrorists opened fire on a bank security guard travelling to local market

On February 26, terrorists shot a Kashmiri Pandit in Achan village in Jammu & Kashmir’s Pulwama District. The deceased was identified as Sanjay Sharma, a bank security guard.

On February 26, terrorists shot a Kashmiri Pandit in Achan village in Jammu & Kashmir’s Pulwama District. The deceased was identified as Sanjay Sharma, a bank security guard.

Since the attack, security has been tightened and the area has been cordoned off to arrest the terrorists. The Kashmir Police said that the terrorists opened fire on Sanjay Sharma while he was travelling to a local market. While the locals rushed him to the nearest hospital after the attack, he succumbed to the injuries.

This comes in a long line of attacks against Kashmiri Pandits.

On October 15, 2022, terrorists opened fire on Puran Krishan Bhat, a Kashmiri Pandit in Chowdari Gund in Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district. He was taken to the hospital for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries.

On August 16, 2022, a Kashmiri Pandit was shot dead by terrorists at an apple orchard in the Chotipora area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district, while his brother was injured in the same attack. The deceased was identified as Sunil Kumar, while his brother Pintu Kumar was injured in the incident.

On May 12, 2022, Rahul Bhatt, an employee of the Tehsil office in the Budgam district’s Chadoora, was shot dead by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district.
