Koothuparambu Police (Kannur district) has registered a case against higher secondary school teacher Girija K.V. for alleged call for riot. SFI workers carried out a protest march to Thokkilangadi school demanding her dismissal. Girija is the sister of BJP leader K.T. Jayakrishnan Master who was killed by CPM killers on December 1, 1999 in the classroom of Mokeri East school, near Thalasserry, Kannur district, while teaching the students of Class 6. The students were frightened and fell into fear psychosis, and they had to undergo serious counselling for long. Such a brutal killing of a teacher in front of the small kids inside a classroom was perhaps the first incident of that sort in the entire world.

Now, Girija teacher has been accused of posting hate comment underneath CPM leader Kodiyeri Balakrishna’s obituary in the social media. But, she is accused of calling for riots! That is why BJP says, it is a political vendetta. BJP says, CPM is bloodthirsty even after the barbarian murder of Jayakrishnan, and now they are after the blood of his family members. It is nothing but fascism, says BJP spokesman Sandeep Warrier. This is cowardice. If CPM continues this sort of hunt regime, Kodiyeri also will be criticised, wrote Sandeep Warrier in his Face Book post. He says, Jayakrishna Master, the state vice president of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, was killed ferociously in front of small children. It is still a heart burn for lakhs of Sangh parivar workers. And, now his sister is trapped in a case in the name of ‘blasphemy’ against Kodiyeri. Now Girija teacher is bedridden due to an accident which broke her both hands. Her husband Ajayakumar holds the phone for her and feeds her. Kodiyeri was so powerful in CPM when Jayakrishnan was killed that it was impossible to happen sans Kodiyeri’s knowledge. Now, Girija teacher is trapped in the case for a harmless comment her husband posted in WhatsApp. Warrier says, the only factor which stops his Party from criticising Kodiyeri is the common understanding that it is not morally right to conduct social audit of a deceased. It is not at all due to fear of Pinarayi Vijayan’s fascist rule. Still he cannot help telling something: The post death comments are not as harmful as the damage his sons had caused when he was alive. To run after the blood of Jayakrishnan Master’s family even after his savage murder is fascism. It shows the coward face of Pinarayi. Sandeep Warrier concluded that CPM and Pinarayi has to keep in mind that their late leader Kodiyeri will be criticised and exposed if they keep on running for the blood of Jayakrishnan Master’s family members.
