Similar to the Udaipur beheading, a 54-year-old man was killed by assailants who slit his throat with a sharp weapon.

Victim Umesh Kolhe, who used to run a medical equipment shop, was returning home on June 21 night on his scooter when he was attacked by the assailants who were also travelling on a two-wheeler.

His son Sanket and his wife were also closely following Kohle on another bike when the attack happened.

Kohle, stabbed on the left side of his neck, was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died during treatment.

According to the local media report, Umesh, by mistake, forwarded a WhatsApp message to his close group of friends and Customers; the group also had a few Muslim members.

The City Kotwali Police have arrested Mudasir, Shahrukh, Abdul, Shoiab, and Atib. According to the local media reports, the killer reportedly said that the post sent by the chemist had insulted Prophet Muhammad, so he ‘must die.’

A week after this incident, Udaipur horror happened where radicals beheaded Kanhaiya Lal Teli just because his son shared a post on social media where he supported suspended BJP leader Nupur Sharma.
