The Sangh Shiksha Varg-Tritiya Varsh of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) concluded on June 2, 2022, at Reshimbagh, Nagpur. More than 735 Swayamsevaks, including farmers, teachers, engineers, doctors drawn from various parts of the country participated in the camp.
Addressing the swayamsevaks, Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat said the task of the Sangh is not to win anyone but to connect with humanity. He said Bharat was once upon a time Vishwa Guru.
The Sarsanghchalak spoke about the social service activities undertaken by the Sangh during the COVID-19 pandemic. Lakhs of Swayamsevaks have worked door-to- door in the service of Corona victims. Swayamsevaks had taken up the noble work of public service with full devotion.

The Sarsanghchalak said the training camp will help the Swayamsevaks to acquire the necessary skills to make their country supremely prosperous. When donations were needed to build the temple of Shri Ram, our Swayamsevaks visited every village in the country and received donations from people. According to the Sarsanghchalak, double the number of Swayamsevaks who are here wanted to come in this camp. This training tradition of the Sangh has been going on for the last 95 years. Little is known about this training tradition, that this camp was earlier organised with the
goal of military training.
Addressing the swayamsevaks, chief guest Shri Daaji Upakhya (Kamlesh Patel), president Shri Ram Chandra Mission, said that for centuries our beloved India has been the Vishwa Guru. Our land is a land of diversity, and all religions, castes, and creeds coexist here is displayed as a symbol of ‘unity in diversity. “Over 3,000 castes, sects groups are there in our country. Each group wants something for themselves. But, we must all think about what we can all do for the country. It is all of us who make the country,” he added.
When the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh was formed in 1925, Dr Hedgewar wanted to provide military training to the Swayamsevaks. The aim was to inculcate discipline and group spirit among the Swayamsevaks. Dr. Hedgewar was not aware of military training, so ex-servicemen were called for training.
In order to expand the training camp, Dr. Hedgewar arranged 40 days of training at Mohite Wada ground in June 1927. About 17 Swayamsevaks took part in it. Swayamsevaks were taught various lessons as part of the military training programme.
Regular Sangh Shiksha Varg was started in 1929. Initially, these camps were called Officers Training Camps. Until 1934, there was a Sangh Shiksha Varg in Nagpur itself. In 1935 the first and second Sangh Shiksha Varg were organized in Pune. In this way, for the last 95 years, this Varg of the Sangh has been appearing in every part of the country. n
