Uttar Pradesh: In the Kanth police station in Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad, a case has been filed against Samajwadi Party MLC Lal Bihari Yadav for allegedly making objectionable remarks about Lord Shiva. Yadav has been charged with violating sections 153A and 153B of the Indian Penal Code.

The case was filed after Bajrang Dal workers expressed displeasure with the SP leader’s remarks. In an alleged video, the SP MLC allegedly made offensive statements about Shivling and Lord Shiva.

In the viral video, Samajwadi Party MLC Lal Bihari Yadav can be seen saying, “The piece of stone that has been spotted in Gyanvapi mosque…how is it being considered a shivling? I am unable to figure that out. Was Lord Shiva human or stone? Aadmi the ya patthar the?” Yadav had said.

While registering a complaint, the Bajrang Dal leaders alleged that the Hindu sentiments were hurt by Lal Bihari Yadav. This comes amid the ongoing Gyanvapi Case, where the Hindu side claimed that a ‘Shivling’ was discovered within the mosque’s premises during the video survey that the Varanasi court ordered.

The Hindu side has claimed that a ‘Shivling’ was discovered within the premises of the Gyanvapi Masjid during the court-monitored video graphics survey that the Varanasi court ordered.

This is not the first time when the Shivling found inside the premises of Gyanvapi Mosque has been mocked. Earlier also there have been several incidents when Liberals and Islamists have made fun of the Gyanvapi Shivling.

Earlier, Civil Judge Ravi Diwakar, who passed the order to conduct a videography survey of the Gyanvapi Masjid complex in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, on Tuesday (June 7) informed the state government allegedly received a threatening letter from Islamic Agaz Movement.
