A slow death by the torture of many small wounds, none lethal in itself, but fatal in their cumulative effect. This torture was a form of execution in ancient China, but we are seeing it in action today in Bharat in the form of gradual genocide of Hindus

The BJP came into power, not just because people were fed up with corruption and the Congress; people were also fed up with the continuous bomb blasts all over the country. People wanted the protection of life as much as they wished the protection of wealth. The bomb blasts and Parliament attack in Delhi, the bomb blasts in Mumbai, Coimbatore and Jaipur, among others had sent a shiver down the spine of common man. Everytime one sat on a bus or train; one would first check under the seat for any abandoned luggage or bag. I remember that dustbins had been removed from Churchgate Station in Mumbai because of a fear of bombs being left in them. From 2009 to 2013, when a Congress-led government was in power, Government records show 15 major cases of terrorist incidents in the hinterland.

After BJP rode into power, there have been comparatively fewer terror attacks in the metropolis. Yes, Pulwama and Uri bomb attacks were there, but they were in Army areas, not in civilian areas. PM Modi told the Swarajya magazine in July 2018: “Maoist violence has declined by 20 per cent in the affected states with a concomitant reduction of 34 per cent in deaths in 2017 compared to 2013.” According to official data, even in the North-Eastern part of the country, there have been fewer and fewer reports of violent incidents—and a sharp fall in civilian deaths since 2015. In a speech in 2019, Nirmala Sitharaman, the then Defence Minister, made a bold claim, “We have not had one major terrorist attack in this country after 2014.”

In a bomb blast, people from all communities are affected if the bomb is placed in a public place. There is no way one could say with any guarantee that people of only one religion or community will be affected. Certain recent events have led me to believe that the perpetrators of such bomb blasts and terror attacks in the country were dissatisfied with the results because their original aim was something else altogether—genocide of the Hindus. Think about it, what happened in Kashmir in 1990 was not because the Muslims wanted to have Kashmir—they wanted a Kashmir without Hindus. The maniacal genocide of Kashmiri Hindus was due to this. Once this view becomes clear, one will understand how the Islamic terror forces changed their modus operandi in Bharat.
Gou Jihad: Yes, cow vigilantism is a bad word today but have you ever realised that it was almost always the cattle wealth of the Hindus which was being stolen by the cow smugglers? Obviously, this was a ruse not just to smuggle or slaughter cows but to also kill/seriously injure those who tried to protect the cows. Unfortunately, many Hindu young men lost their lives in this fight, and as a special prize, they got the title of “goonda-badmash”.

Love Jihad: Much as I hate this term, it was widely used to indicate the trapping of young girls into affairs/marriages with Muslim men using seduction, blackmail, rape and threats to life. Almost every day, we come across cases where young girls are murdered because of this form of Jihad. In cases where Hindu boys enter into relationships with Muslim girls, not just the boy is killed; many a time, entire families are attacked/killed.

Hospital Jihad: Now, this is another unique form of killing educated doctors by families of patients who have either died or not recovered from their illness. Most of the doctors attacked/killed are Hindus.
Stone-pelting Jihad: Whether you are an Army officer, a health worker, or the police, you may become a victim of stone pelting by a fanatical mob of Muslims if you enter “their area”. Again, the victims are mainly Hindus.
Festival/Worship Jihad: If you are a Hindu and decide to do Puja in your house or Temple, or if you decide to celebrate your festival in the open, public space in the form of processions, there is a high likelihood of you becoming a victim to stone pelting, acid bomb-throwing, etc. just because you are a Hindu celebrating your festival in the only country where Hinduism originated. And not a single news channel or paper will call it a genocide even if everyone knows that it has happened because the holy book states that “idol worshippers” can be hated or killed.

Riots Jihad: Whether it is the Delhi riots or the Shaheen Bagh incident, it is a well-known fact now that only Hindus are at the receiving end. The excuse could be legislation which has not yet been implemented or any other flimsy excuse. The perpetrator will be seeking to maim and kill maximum Hindus.

Vote Jihad: The best example of this would be what happened in West Bengal(WB) post-elections. The kind of carnage that Hindu supporters of the BJP faced is something that one had seen only when the Left ruled the State. Without much ado, one can state that the perpetrators of the carnage belonged to the current ruling party and from only One community.

Jihad Against Non Believers: This is another unique way to kill the “kafirs”. The excuse could range from trying to steal and attempting to rape to just plain old recovery of loans. It doesn’t matter. If the person on the other side is a Hindu, killing him is a passport to Jannat and Hoors.

A lot of readers will wonder how criminal acts can be equated with genocide. The fact is that when it is just one community which is committing these criminal acts on just another community, prudence dictates that one understands the pattern. Another very important factor is the average age of the victims – most of them are young men and women. Most importantly, the impunity with which these criminal acts are done suggests that they have no fear of the law and that they know that either they will be bailed out or that their families will be cared for. Taking the Delhi riots and Shaheen Bagh as an example, one can safely say that they
also received political patronage which was severely lacking for Hindus.

In conclusion, I would like to highlight two factors:

  • A constant environment of fear among Hindus is sought to be created with the help of the above jihads and killings. It is reminiscent of the days when one looked under the bus seats—the only difference is that now one looks around to see if there is a mob belonging to “Samuday Vishesh” around.
  • By going overboard on appeasement despite all the various forms of violence, the Centre has actually adopted a practice of rewarding criminal behaviour instead of punishing criminal behaviour.

How should the situation be tackled? The most important way to tackle any problem is to be aware of it. Next, Hindus should demand action by ruling powers against targeted criminal behaviour, which is especially aimed at their genocide. All forms of appeasement of minorities have to be stopped immediately, especially because the most significant minority is only interested in the genocide of Hindus. If Governments do not take action against such genocidal behaviour, Courts should notice this form of “Genocide by a Thousand Cuts” and force the Government to take action against such activities. Hindus need to wake up and protect themselves before they become extinct.
