After being suspended from BJP for speaking on Muhammad’s life on a live debate show and receiving several rape and death threats from Islamists, a Dutch lawmaker came out in support of Nupur Sharma’s comments.

Geert Wilders is the leader of the Party for Freedom and is a member of the House of Representatives in the Netherlands. Taking to Twitter, Wilders slammed Arab and Islamic countries for condemning Nupur Sharma’s comments while she only spoke the truth about Muhammad.

“It is ridiculous that Arab and Islamic countries are angered by Indian politician #NupurSharma @NupurSharmaBJP for speaking the truth about #ProphetMuhammad who indeed married Aisha when she was six years old and consumed the marriage when she was nine. Why does India apologize?” he wrote on Twitter.

He also advised India not to be intimidated by Islamic countries and added that appeasement would never work; instead, it would make things worse.

He also advised Indians to defend Nupur Sharma, who spoke the truth about Muhammad.

“Appeasement never works. It’ll only make things worse. So my dear friends from India, don’t be intimidated by islamic countries. Stand up for freedom and be proud and steadfast in defending your politician #NupurSharma @NupurSharmaBJP, who spoke the truth about Muhammad,” he said in another tweet.

Nupur Sharma has been receiving rape and death threats from Islamists ever since the fake news peddler and Alt News co-founder Mohammed Zubair twisted Nupur Sharma’s comments on social media with an 85-second video.

Several days after writing to the Delhi Police Commissioner, Delhi Police, on Monday (June 6), registered FIR over the threats the former spokesperson has been receiving from Islamists.

BJP, on Sunday, suspended Nupur Sharma from the party for ‘expressing views contrary to the party’s views on various matters.”

Later, Nupur apologised on Twitter for her comments on Muhammad, saying it was never her intention to hurt anyone’s religious feelings.

She wrote, “I have been attending TV debates for the past many days where our Mahadev was being insulted and disrespected continuously. It was mockingly being said that it is not Shivling but a fountain. The Shivling was also being ridiculed by comparing it to roadside signs and poles in Delhi.”

“I could not tolerate this continuous insult and disrespect towards our Mahadev and I said some things in response to it. If my words have caused discomfort or hurt religious feelings of anyone whatsoever, I hereby unconditionally withdraw my statement. It was never my intention to hurt anyone’s religious feelings,” she added.
