The Kerala Police, in its investigation, found that the child who was seen raising genocide slogans for Hindus and Christians in a PFI rally was trained by the PFI to raise slogans.
In its remand report to the court, the Kerala Police said, “Though there is law that children should not be used for such illegal activities, the accused 24 to 27 (the boy’s father) with other accused used the child for provocative sloganeering with the intention of creating riots and communal enmity. The father allowed the child to participate in this.”
The police had arrested the boy’s father, who is also a PFI terrorist on Saturday (May 28).
Terrorist organisation Popular Front of India (PFI) had organised ‘Save the Republic’ rally in Alappuzha on May 21. A video from the rally had gone viral on different social media platforms. In the viral video, a child, who was sitting on a man’s shoulder, could be heard saying “(Hindus) should buy rice and flowers for their rites. Oh! I forgot one thing. (Christians) should also buy incense for their last rites. Here comes…here comes…your butchers. If you want to live here, live decently. Otherwise, we know how to implement Azadi. If you want to live here, live decently.”
Based on the complaint of one Vijayakumar PK, the Kerala Police had registered an FIR against PFI Alappuzha district chief Navasm, district secretary Mujeeb and some unknown people.
They were booked under Sections 153A (Promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion), 295A (Deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class), 505(1)(b) (Act against the public tranquillity), 505(1)(c), 505(2) and 506 (Criminal intimidation) of the IPC and 120(O) of Kerala Police Act.
The matter also reached the Kerala High Court and the Court had ordered the police to take action against all involved in raising Hindu genocide slogans.
Recently, burqa controversy was orchestrated by the PFI in Karnataka. In the first week of February this year, suddenly some Muslim girls in Udupi started demanding that they be allowed in classrooms in burqa. Later, media investigations revealed that PFI, its political arm SDPI and student wing Campus Front of India (CFI) had orchestrated the controversy which had got support from the Taliban and the al Qaeda.
