Prabhu Sri Ram missing from Kejriwal’s Ram Navami advertisement, instead Babri mosque dome-like structure finds place

New Delhi: In an utter disregard for the Hindu sentiments, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal issued an advertisement on Sunday (April 10) on the occasion of Ram Navami without picture of Sri Ram in it.

The advertisement has his picture displayed prominently on it. In another outrageous move, the central part of the advertisement has been occupied with a dome-like structure of the Babri mosque.

As soon as the picture of the advertisement started circulating on social media platforms, netizens expressed anger over the outrageous move of Delhi chief minister.

Shehzad Poonawalla, national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), said that it was done deliberately by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to hurt the sentiments of Hindus. “Everyone knows how Ram Mandir in Ayodhya will look yet Kejriwal govt, for appeasement, used tax payer money funded ads to depict perhaps what looks like Babri disputed structure dome & erased saffron flag atop Ram Mandir? I’m prepared for FIR by Punjab cops but WHY INSULT HINDUS,” he posted on Twitter.

Since the Aam Aadmi Party has secured power in Punjab, the AAP leader is making full use of Punjab Police by filing FIR against BJP leaders for criticising him. The Punjab Police has registered FIRs against three BJP leaders Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga, Priti Gandhi and Naveen Kumar Jindal in the last few days. All three had committed the ‘crime’ of criticising Arvind Kejriwal and AAP.

“First Kejriwal mocked Kashmiri Hindus and called their genocide & a movie depicting that fake! Now on occasion of #RamNavami why use tax payer money to rub salt into wounds that have started healing post Ram Mandir Nirman. Sinister & devious..Prepared for FIR from Punjab cops,” he added.

Another BJP leader Priti Gandhi criticised Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for not adding the picture of Prabhu Sri Ram in the Ram Navami advertisement. “Kejriwal is so full of himself that there is no trace of Lord Ram in the ‘Ram Navmi’ advertisements published by Delhi govt (with tax payers money!). Also, his attempt to monkey balance by choosing to put up a picture of a mosque like dome instead of the temple. Ridiculous!!” she posted on Twitter.

Criticising the advertisement, senior advisor in the Union Ministry of Information & Broadcasting Kanchan Gupta said, “The Sri Ram Mandir at Ayodhya looks nothing like as shown in tax-funded Delhi Govt ad along with Arvind Kejriwal’s smirking face. Whose fetid imagination is the visual in the ad? Where did the dome come from? Architect’s scale model images of Sri Ram Mandir are freely available.”
