The Kashmir Files, a film about the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus hit the theatres on Friday (March 11). Multiple attempts were made by the Communists and the Islamists to stop the release of the film.
It has been only three days and The Kashmir Files, a film about Hindu genocide in Kashmir, is making waves.
After the film by director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri hit the theatres on Friday (March 11), the demand is growing for more such films about other Hindu genocides and persecutions.
A commentator, who goes by the digital name Royally Fiery, said, “After #TheKashmirFiles, Vivek Agnihotri must pick Sabarmati Express. Hindus who were burnt alive while sleeping and the secular govt + media passed it off as an accident. If you have sweet pilled millennials, that’s the best way for awakening them.”
On February 27, 2002, a Muslim mob in Godhra set on fire the Sabarmati Express in and killed 59 innocent Hindus, including women and children. Karsevaks were returning to Gujarat after karseva in Ayodhya.
Since then, the Islamists and the Communists have tried to pass it off as an accident. Despite multiple findings and evidences, they still propagate that what happened in Godhra on February 27, 2002, was just an accident.
Editor of Leftist propaganda website The Wire Siddharth Varadarajan posted on Twitter on Friday (March 4) “20 years on, we are still living the lie that anti-Hindu conspirators forcibly entered a railway coach filled to the brim with karsevaks, poured 60 litres of petrol and set it on fire without a SINGLE passenger seeing them do this. Yes, not even one.”
The Wire also published a piece by Prem Shankar Jha arguing Godhra was just an accident. He wrote “The train was carrying a large number of karsevaks who had forcibly boarded the train at Ayodhya. When it arrived at Godhra, therefore, it was carrying 2,000 or more passengers against a capacity of 1,100. When coach S-6 caught fire, it was jam packed with some of these karsevaks.”
What the Islamists and the Communists conveniently try to forget is that the Muslim mob not only had burnt the coach S-6 of the Sabarmati Express in the morning but it also returned three hours later to carry out more attacks on the train.
Demanding a similar film on partition, Swayamsevak Rajiv Tuli said, “Watching The Kashmir File. Belonging to a refugee family, my request to Vivek Agnihotri: Please make a movie on partition also.”
Netizens are demanding similar films about Muzaffarnagar riots, Malabar Hindu genocide, Kerala murders and Bengal Hindu genocide.
Multiple attempts were made to stop the release of the film. A plea was filed by Syed Intezar Hussain in the Bombay High Court requesting the court to stop the release of the film as it hurt his sentiments.
Appreciating the film, political analyst Yashwant Deshmukh said, “Always wanted to watch something genuinely doing justice to the pain and plight of Kashmiri Pandits. Earlier tried watching the few glamourous feelgood portrayals which included the trademark Bollywood romantic song and dance stuff by default. Felt nauseatic, left mid-way.”
“Now I definitely wish to watch #TheKashmirFiles, simply looking at the kind of people who are uncomfortable and against it. If these “distinguished” people are unable to digest it, this simply means Vivek Agnihotri must have served the cold blooded truth, as raw as it should be,” he added.
