Prayagraj: Acharya Mahamandleshwar Laxmi Narayan Tripathi, the head of Kinnar Akhara, has stated that "It will be nice if BJP wins again in the 2022 UP assembly elections." She went on to say that people should vote for a government that focuses on development and infrastructure improvement. Acharya Tripathi was speaking at Magh Mela. She also praised the grand Lord Ram temple in Ayodhya and the beautiful Kashi Vishwanath Dham. She, on the other hand, questioned, "When a beautiful Lord Rama temple is being built in Ayodhya, why not a grand Lord Krishna temple be built in Mathura?"

She also urged the people of the state to vote in the next state assembly elections under whatever circumstances, arguing that doing so would promote democracy. She also urged the third gender community to vote in the state assembly elections. "When we vote for a healthy and vibrant democracy, it would undoubtedly bring overall growth to the state," Tripathi said, adding, "One must recognise the power of each and every vote and guarantee that people come forward to strengthen democracy."

Swami Kaushalyanand Giri alias Tina Maa, state president of Kinnar Akhara, stated that people should grasp the power of voting and that every eligible voter should vote in the state assembly elections. "We have been conducting voter education initiatives across the state," she continued.

Mahamandleshwar Swami Kalyaninand Giri alias Choti Guru also urged the inhabitants of Sangam City to exercise their right to vote and to elect a healthy government that will work for their entire development. Meanwhile, saints and seers camping at Magh Mela urged visitors to vote in order to maintain a healthy democracy. "Voting is every individual's right, and one must ensure that he or she and eligible voters in their family vote in the elections," they said.
