Shameful act under the patronage and instruction of Sonia and Rahul Gandhi: Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma
Agartala: BJYM organised a protest rally in Tripura against the condemnable act by the Punjab government and Congress party during the Prime Minister's visit on Wednesday (January 5).
Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Dev, several ministers, MLAs, party leaders and thousands of people took part in the torch rally in Agartala on Thursday (January 6). People turned up in huge numbers and showed their anger against the Punjab government's inappreciable act, which led to the breach in the security of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Participating in the protest rally. CM Biplab Dev said, "I condemn this type of vindictive mentality of the Congress party. It is their character and 130 crore people of the country will make them answerable in coming days. People turned up in large numbers and showed anger against the doing of Congress."
CM Dev also performed puja at Meherbadi Kali Mandir for the safety and wellbeing of the Prime Minister.
Talking about the breach of security of the Prime Minister, Assam CM Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma opined that such a shameful act by the Punjab Congress Government under the patronisation and instruction of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi is unanimously condemned by the people of Assam. "Sri Narendra Modi Ji will continue to wreck such conspiracy of the opposition and shine on like a pole star in the highest political echelon of the nation," Dr Sarma added.
