LDF got a consecutive second term electoral victory with the vote bank support of SDPI and the ruling party's soft corner towards the fundamentalists was blatant when the postmortem of Renjith was postponed to the next day morning even though he was killed by 6.30 am.

Kerala is not yet free from the shock created by the cold-blooded murder of RSS Mandal Boudhik Pramukh Sanjith on November 15, 2021, in the Palakkad district. Then came another worse murder of Adv. Renjith Sreenivasan, State Secretary of BJP OBC Morcha, in Alappuzha district on December 19, 2021. Both murders are alleged to be operated by Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), the political arm of Islamic fundamentalist outfit, Popular Front of India (PFI).

While Sanjith was killed around 9.30 am when he was riding his two-wheeler with his wife, Renjnith was killed in his house around 6.30 am in front of his elderly mother, wife, and two school-going children. Eight killers stormed into his house and smashed his head, face with a heavy hammer. His wife and children were chased away when they tried to dissuade the killers. They placed a sword on the neck of his mother when she screamed.

The whole incident occurred without provocation or political clashes or tension in the area. Renjith was a calm and quiet person who never got involved in an altercation with anyone. A Sangh Swayamsevak since his childhood, Renjith was an idealistic BJP worker and deeply involved in value-based positive politics.

BJP and other Sangh-oriented organisations blame the CPM-led ruling LDF regime headed by CPM supremo Pinarayi Vijayan for these massacres, thanks to the government's soft approach towards the Islamic terrorist party. A couple of months back, another innocent RSS worker, Biju, was killed near Guruvayoor by SDPI killers. Real culprits are yet to be booked. Even the main accused in the murder of Abhimanyu, an active SFI comrade, is not yet arrested. The accused are SDPI men. That murder took place on July 2, 2018!!!

Everybody knows CPM suffers knee jerk when they think about actions against SDPI in Kerala. It is a well-known fact that LDF got a consecutive second term electoral victory with the vote bank support of SDPI. LDF has failed in countering the allegations of BJP and Congress that LDF rules a couple of Panchayats and a Municipality with the help of SDPI.

The ruling apparatus's soft corner towards the fundamentalists was blatant when the postmortem of Renjith was postponed to the next day morning even though he was killed by 6.30 am. Though four or five SDPI activists were arrested, none were physically involved in the murder but were only blamed for giving logistical support to the killers.

Nithyananda Rai and V. Muraleedharan, Union Ministers of State for Home Affairs and Parliamentary & Foreign Affairs respectively and prominent leaders of BJP, RSS and Sangh-oriented organisations, visited Renjith's home and paid their last respects to him.

It is clear that SDPI gets support from CPM and its government. On the other hand, Congress-led Opposition UDF competes with LDF in shamefully appeasing the fundamentalist vote bankers. Be it Love Jihad, Halal Jihad, eulogy of anti-Hindu Khilafat riots of 1921 or visiting Bangalore jail to see terrorist Abdul Nasar Madani, and both Fronts act as birds of the same feathers. Both Fronts oppose the union government's endeavour to raise the women's age for marriage to 21.

In the meantime, senior BJP leader and former Mizoram Governor Kummanam Rajasekharan met Hon. State Governor Sri Arif Muhammed Khan and apprised him of the third rate murder politics unleashed by SDPI in the state and the partisan style of police.

Later, he told the media that state police resort to blatant partiality against RSS, BJP and Sangh-oriented organisations. Police goes on manhunt against them in the name of preventive custody and are put under custody to demolish Hindu movements. But takes no action against SDPI or PFI. Kummanam alleged that police facilitated the safe escape of the culprits behind the killings of Sanjith and Renjith Sreenivasan to other states. CPM and Islamic forces are hand-in-glove. Their set goal is to liquidate Hindu and nationalistic forces in the state. He conveyed the same to the Hon. Governor. Kummanam said that the Hon. Governor expressed his mental anguish and agony in this state of affairs. The police chief himself confirmed the escape of the killers. Kummanam and party general secretary P. Sudheer met State Police Chief and discussed the above matter.

Kummanam added that Kerala is undergoing horrific circumstances. On the one hand, religious fanatics work 24 x7 to pave the way for communal riots. On the other hand, anti-social elements and goons leave no stone unturned to upset the law and order situation. Even policemen are not spared.

Now, the state BJP leadership has taken some serious steps to give a helping hand to the bereaved family of Balidani Renjith Sreenivasan. State President K. Surendran appeals to the nationalistic countrymen to participate in a fundraising drive to help the family of Renjith Sreenivasan, who was the only breadwinner to them.
