A school teacher Ashraf (53) has been arrested from Malappuram district in Kerala for sexually assaulting a 10-year-old boy student. This is the third time that Ashraf is getting arrested under the same charges of POCSO.

Prior to this, Ashraf was arrested in 2012 and 2019 after complaints of sexually assaulting boy school children came against him in Karipur and Parappanangadi police stations.

After the parents of the boy child complained to the Child helpline, they forwarded the complaint to Thanoor police station. Ashraf was arrested subsequently.
