A UP police team will probe the Popular Front of India (PFI) Rally where UP CM yogi Adityanath was insulted by the Islamist goons. An FIR number 39/2021 was lodged at the Cyber Crime Police Station in Lucknow rural district under the sections 505(2) and 66 of Information Technology Act (2008). The incident is said to have happened on 25/26 October 2021. The FIR says that propagating such videos could create unrest among communities.
In the video which went viral on social media, three men were seen mimicking an assault against a man dressed in saffron clothes and wearing the mask of UP CM Yogi Adityanath. The assailants drag the man on the road and imitate an assault against him.
These Islamic fundamentalists have anger against Yogi Adityanath for acting against PFI activists, including Siddique Kappan, who are lodged in jail since the last after they were arrested by the UP Police for their alleged involvement in inciting unrest over the Hathras incident.
Uttar Pradesh Police nabs training commander of Popular Front of India, anti-national documents seized
Special Task Force (STF) of Uttar Pradesh Police has nabbed the training commander of the Islamic radical outfit Popular Front of India (PFI). Mohammad Rashid was arrested by the STF team on Saturday night near Basti railway station. Rashid was apprehended when he was trying to go to Mumbai via Lucknow to take part in the training sessions of the PFI.
The Police recovered some documents with anti-national material, a CD, which is suspicious, a fake Aadhar card and a mobile phone from him. A case has been registered against him under various sections of the IPC at Kotwali police station in Basti. A probe has been initiated into the matter.
During interrogation, the PFI training commander confessed that his main aim was to brain-wash the Muslim youth, and imparts physical and weapons training and prepare them to trigger attacks in any part of the country.
