SDPI bats for High court bench and Secretariat annexe in Calicut; another Strategy for Bifurcation of Kerala

The Islamist PFI-SDPI combine has decided to present their old demand of bifurcation of Kerala in a new bottle. Now they are demanding for a High court bench and Secretariat annexe in Calicut. To convince the larger audience, these Islamist outfits are raising various challenges faced by Malabar region including healthcare and education. From 2010, PFI is raising the demand for separating the Muslim majority Malabar from Kerala. 

Islamist organisations including Jamaat-e-Islami, PFI, Muslim League and others have been constantly raising the issue of bifurcation of Kerala. Muslim Youth League had earlier passed a resolution which called for separate statehood for Malabar region. Earlier, the editor of SKSSF mouthpiece Anwar Saddique Faisi had called for Telangana moderl agitation for forming Malabar state.
