The Schedule Caste Morcha of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has decided to organise massive protest against CPM for abusing a dalit leader of All India Students’ Federation (AISF), the students’ wing of CPI. The SC Morcha President in Kerala, Shajumon Vattekkadu said that the organisation will hold the protest with the slogan of ‘SCs not the slaves of CPM’. He also slammed the CPM calling out their ‘fake affection towards SCs’.

Shajumon told the media that CPM leaders are still practising untouchability and this is reflecting in the action of SFI, their students’ wing.

The SC Morcha president also questioned the silence of the intellectuals in Kerala who are very active when some unfortunate incidents happen in other parts of the country. He also said that their pens are kept inside the state office of CPM.

AISF woman leader beaten up; threatened to rape by SFI goons in Kerala

A woman leader of CPI's students' wing, the All India Students Federation (AISF), has alleged that she was beaten up by the goons of the Students Federation of India (SFI). The goons also threatened to rape the girl. SFI is the students' wing of CPI(M).

There was a tussle between the activists of both the students' organisations regarding the senate elections at Mahatma Gandhi University in Kottayam district. AISF had filed candidates against SFI, which irked the goons of SFI. The woman leader has filed a complaint at Gandhinagar police station regarding the incident.

The lady also claimed that the SFI goons touched her inappropriately. She has also pointed out that one of the personal staff of Kerala minister R. Bindu was also involved in the attack.

The videos of SFI goons attacking AISF have gone viral on social media. Interestingly, the flag of SFI has the words like 'Freedom, Democracy and Socialism' written on it!
