DEFENCE SCAN: MULTILATERAL MARITIME EXERCISE MALABAR 2021 – PHASE II

The Indian Navy is participating in the second phase of Multilateral Maritime Exercise Malabar along with the Japan Maritime Self Defence Force, Royal Australian Navy and the United States Navy. First Phase of the exercise was conducted in the Philippines Sea from  August 26 to 29, 2021.  The Second Phase of the exercise is aimed at building upon the synergy, coordination and inter-operability developed during the First Phase of the exercise.

 

RAKSHA MANTRI CONFERS GALLANTRY/ MERITORIOUS SERVICE MEDALS ON PERSONNEL OF INDIAN COAST GUARD

Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh conferred gallantry and meritorious service medals on the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) personnel at an investiture ceremony held in New Delhi on October 9, 2021. Speaking on the occasion, he extended his best wishes to the winners and exuded confidence that these awards and medals would not only boost the morale of the awardees, but inspire other ICG personnel to give their best to safeguard the interests of the nation. Raksha Mantri also addressed the 38th Coast Guard Commanders’ Conference.
