“Bharat Mata Pujan” organised in Guwahati as part of the ongoing Durga Puja festival

Speaking at Bharat Mata Pujan CM Dr Sarma said, the aim of Sanatan life is to empower me with knowledge and wisdom, eradicating the darkness and ignorance.

Guwahati: As the entire state is drowning in Maa Durga's devotion for the 5 days puja celebration, Pragya Foundation is celebrating "Bharat Mata Pujan '' in Guwahati this year too. Every year during the Durga puja festival, pragya foundation organises Bharat Mata Puja and Guru Puja in Guwahati. The Bharat Mata Pujan starts on the Sasthi puja and continues till Dashami. Chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday took part in the Bharat Mata Pujan and Guru Puja organised at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra. 

Speaking on the occasion CM Dr Sarma said, “The aim of Sanatan life is to empower me with knowledge and wisdom, eradicating the darkness and ignorance. The best way to reach this aim is by Margdarshan of Gurus. I sincerely offer my prayers to all Gurus to show us the right path of truth and supreme knowledge, and take an oath to not stray from the right path." Several known personalities and film and television actors, singers took part in the Bharat Mata Pujan samaroh in Guwahati.

On the occasion of the Maha Saptami, CM Himanta Biswa Sarma visited several Puja Pandals in Silchar and offered his prayer. 

He also visited the famous Kanchakanti Devi Mandir, Udharbond in Cachar and prayed for the well being of all.
