A former Afghan police official named Muskan revealed to Network 18 that the Taliban are infamous for their cruelty against women.
Muskan told Network 18 that the Taliban does not spare even dead women and had sex with them, a former Afghan police official.
She told this in an exclusive interview with Network 18. She managed to escape Afghanistan and is currently in Delhi.
She said the Taliban goes from house to house hunting for girls and takes girls as young as 10 for the Taliban fighters. And if someone protests, they kill without hesitation.
The Taliban are particularly infamous for cruelty against women. Women are not allowed to work and can't go out without the company of a male from the family.
Burqa is mandatory for all women, and they are prohibited from attending schools and colleges. The women TV anchors in Kabul have been taken off air because the Taliban will not allow them to work.
In the interview, Muskan said the crimes committed by the Taliban against women are unimaginable. After taking over Kabul on August 15, the Taliban said it would allow women rights but only within Sharia, the conservative Islamic law.
