World’s first Sanskrit OTT platform, promoted by the noted filmmaker Asokan PK, will be launched on August 22, World Sanskrit Day.

“Sanskrit OTT team will bring Sanskrit feature films, short films, web series, educational series and cookery shows in its upcoming Sanskrit OTT channel for its worldwide viewers”, Asokan PK said in a statement.

In the next one year, the platform will premiere 15 Sanskrit feature films and more than 300 different programmes.

It will be showcasing content that will not be available on other channels and platforms.

“We are happy to open the channel on World Sanskrit Day, which allows us the chance to increase our audience and reach Sanskrit fans from around the world”, said Asokan PK.

In collaboration with various Sanskrit organizations, including the Live Sanskrit team, a group of Sanskrit language specialists, this channel will be showcasing content that will be exclusive on the platform and will suit the taste of the Sanskrit fans.
