In a major political development, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has issued a three-line whip to its party Members of Parliament in Rajya Sabha as well as the Lok Sabha to be present in the House tomorrow (August 10).
The opposition has been creating a ruckus in the parliament from day one of this session and not allowing any discussions in these troubled times of pandemics.
“All BJP members in Rajya Sabha are hereby informed that some very important business will be taken up for discussion and passing in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday, August 10 and Wednesday, August 11. All members of BJP in Rajya Sabha are therefore requested to be positively present in the House throughout all both days and support the Government,” the BJP said in a notice.
While the BJP has asked the Rajya Sabha MPs to be present in the House on August 10 and August 11, the three-line whip issued to its Lok Sabha MPs asking them to be present in the House tomorrow.
The session will last till August 13.
