The Taliban terrorists shot dead a 21-year-old Nazaneen on Wednesday (August 4) when she was on her way to the Balkh district centre.
She was dragged out of the car she was travelling in and shot dead. Taliban have prohibited women from moving outside without a veil.
Taliban is enforcing the Draconian Sharia laws, which they had enforced in Afghanistan when they were in power in 1996-2001.
As reported by Organiser earlier, they are enforcing the same Draconian laws in the areas they are capturing.
Women are not allowed to go outside their homes without a veil or unaccompanied by a male family member. They are also prohibited from working or going to schools.
Taliban has been making rapid advances in capturing new districts in Afghanistan. They have captured more than half of the 400 districts of Afghanistan.
Recently, Herat was attacked by the Taliban terrorists, the first such attack in about two decades. The Afghan government currently controls only about 70 districts. The fight is going on in the remaining districts.
They have captured districts in the provinces of Helmand, Kandahar, Farah, Laghman, Parwan, Khost, Herat, Ghor, Bamyan and Ghazni.
In some success for the Afghan security forces, they have taken three districts in the provinces of Kunduz, Nimroz and Badakshan.
The Taliban have captured several border crossings, including Torghundi and Islam Qala in Herat and Abu Nasr Farahi in Farah. They are important links with Iran. The posts in Sher Khan in Kunduz and Ay Khanom in Takhar, on the Tajik border, are also with the Taliban.
The Taliban has captured Spin Boldak in Kandahar, a very important link with Pakistan.
