BJP State President Somu Veerraju will visit temples to take stock of the situation on the ground during temple yatra.

After multiple complaints of temple mismanagement by the Jagan Mohan Reddy government in Andhra Pradesh, BJP State President Some Veerraju will start his four-day ‘Temple Yatra’ from Kanaka Durga temple in Vijayawada.

The ‘Temple Yatra’ will start from Vijayawada on Saturday (July 24).

Veerraju will be accompanied by state general secretaries PVN Madhav and S Vishnu Vardhan Reddy and other senior leaders of the party.

There have been multiple complaints against the Jagan Mohan Reddy government in filling the temple administration posts by non-Hindus.

“I would offer prayers requesting the deities to present wisdom to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, under whose watch obstacles are being created for Hinduism,” said Veerraju.

The purpose of the yatra is to take stock of the development work in the temple area.

Earlier, a delegation led by Veerraju had met Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy and apprised him of the ground realities in Andhra Pradesh.
