Yogi Govt takes back 2.1-hectare land illegally occupied by Rohingya intruders, land worth Rs 150 Crore

Rohingya intruders had occupied 2.1 hectares of land owned by the UP State Water resources ministry at Delhi’s Madanpur Khadar.

 

Yogi government has demolished illegal constructions by Rohingya intruders on the UP government’s property in Delhi. Rohingya intruders had occupied 2.1 hectares of land owned by the UP State Water resources ministry at Delhi’s Madanpur Khadar. The land is worth Rs 150 crore. Before the demolition, the UP government informed the Delhi government and received their consent to remove illegal constructions.

 

UP state Water resources minister Mahendra Singh had informed the media that letters regarding this were sent to Delhi’s LG, Chief Minister, Opposition leaders and local authority. They received full support from the Delhi police.

 

The UP government had cleared their land from illegal immigrants earlier also. Around 6 hectares of land was reclaimed at Sarita Vihar before.
