The trust released a statement concerning the opposition parties’ allegations surrounding the temple land.

Trust’s treasurer Shri Govind Dev Giriji Maharaj said the accusations are aimed at disturbing the construction of the Ram temple complex in Ayodhya.

The examination of all the purchase documents revealed no irregularity in the purchase of land in Ayodhya, said Shri Ram Teerth Kshetra Trust treasurer Shri Govind Dev Giriji Maharaj on Friday (July 2).

The accusations are aimed at disturbing the construction work of the Shri Ram temple which is in full swing, he further added.

Shri Govind Dev Giriji Maharaj said, “Even the basic courtesy of seeking clarification from the trust was not followed by the people who accused the trust of wrong-doing.”

He added, “If there are still any doubts left in the minds of the accusers, they should try to purchase some surrounding lands at lower prices or at the prices at which trust has bought the lands.”

All the rules have been followed in the purchase of the land and all transactions have taken place from bank to bank.

Political leaders from the Samaj wadi Party and the Aam Aadmi Party, based on a misinterpretation of the purchase documents, accused the trust of wrong-doing.

Assembly elections are due in Uttar Pradesh early next year.

Swami Giriji added he was joined by Udupi-based Pejawar Math Swami Vishwaprasanna Tirthji Maharaj, trustee Kameshwar Chaupal and lawyers and CAs in examining the documents.

But, no wrongdoing was found.

Vested elements have been maligning the name of Shri Champat Raiji, General Secretary, Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra.

Shri Chapmat Raiji, who is also the International Vice-President of VHP, has devoted his life to the Ram temple movement.

Giriji Maharaj, on behalf of all the trustees, assured all the Ram Bhakts that the work in Ayodhya would be carried out according to the ideals and guidance of Shri Ram.
