The difference between the ‘other’ in known and ‘other’ in unknown is that of behaviour. How we behave with others or vis-à-vis others in the known, that evolves to become etiquette when it is truthful. Our relationship with the “other” in an unknown domain is our saadhanaa as an individual entity
All wise ones indicate the same thing by saying almost similar things about it. And, they do it across all dimensions of time. And, when someone realises that the same thing that stays unstirred eternally unprecedented then, stirred and moved as individuals they stand transcended. Living such a union (yog) of transcendence and realisation is unison (yog).
But, the moment someone gives any name to the thing indicated at the outset, division is stirred. And, the same (some/one) thing which is the cause of all unity begins to be perceived divisive. And, this naming couldn’t be stopped so far because in the known field we identify and relate to our various selves through names and forms. That’s why identifying and relating with the thing with some name and form makes it easier and credible for us. This is a brief history of God so far. It is the sum total of the journey of various religions from their inception till now, which so far has ‘proved’ unifying as well as divisive both.
Is there any way that this essentially unifying force could be put back in its real perspective and yet again it becomes a unifying force instead of an ‘us and them’ kind of unnecessary binary, if not an out and out divisive tool that it appears to be at present beyond the boundaries of its numerous ‘in-groups’?
Where there is a will, there is a way. Will is assumed as divine. ‘Will’ is quintessential ‘other’. And, ‘other’ in its known form encompasses everyone and everything other than what one considers oneself. And in its unknown form ‘other’ encompasses the trust in that relationship which one upholds in one’s ultimate realisation. The difference between the ‘other’ in known and ‘other’ in unknown is that of behaviour. So we need ‘something living’ which could facilitate everyone individually to experience the truth in the known as well as in the unknown domain with the ‘other’. Only then is there a possibility of hope. Because, truth or knowledge liberates. Liberation is the ultimate fruit of knowledge in the known domain. And bonding received through real relationships which transcends time bestows infinite freedom to expand in the unknown domain.
The richness that the spiritual treasure within bestows on the seeker can be experienced by the ones who have realised the value of being on a spiritual journey traversing through a spiritual path with a guide by the side all the while
What is that ‘something living’? It is yog (popularly spelt as yoga). Yog means unison when seen from an unknown domain as, the diversity begins from oneness/unity. And, when seen from a known dimension in this infinitely vast diversity that we human beings are exploring continuously then yog means union. For the realised ones, it is the essential unity (union/unison/oneness) that stays visible.
In the eternal canvas as many ‘ways of yog’ (paths) are possible as many beings are there at any given point of time in the known field. If it were not so, yog couldn’t be that ‘something’ which I have discovered (uncovered) it to be, through research (it has been searched by all spiritual masters (seers) infinite times over. In that sense it’s not ‘something’ new. I have tuned it to a known field and related it to an unknown field for the present times and named it Sahaj Smriti Yog. And, even my doing so is also not new. Yet, there is nothing in it that’s not unprecedented (Sanaatana). It is woven in a very simple lifestyle. One’s religion, nation, gender… is not an obstacle in it. All can practice it and journeying through their own experiences and observations may become living evidence of its efficacy. It is one’s journey from intellect to intelligence to wisdom which results in attaining that stage of realisation where quality of mutual behaviour becomes worth emulating, intensity of bonding becomes worth cherishing relationships and indication becomes worth looking forward to. And, as indicated at the outset one begins to indicate something which is the same thing indicated in somewhat similar way yet differently because Yog is the way of living/becoming/attaining to your real identity which is uniquely different or is it differently same!
