In another example of Islamist forces penetrating large tech companies like termites and changing the public discourse, the word ‘GOD’ in capital letters when translated to Malayalam shows ‘ALLAHU’. When the word ‘God’ in small caps is translated, it shows ‘Daivam’ in Malayalam which is the true translation of the word. Netizens are demanding prompt action from Google and change the translation of GOD.

Earlier, there was an incident of ‘google translate’ translating ‘God bless you’ to ‘Assalamu Alaikkum’ in Hindi. Following the Organiser Weekly taking up the issue, Google was forced to change the translation to ‘Bhagavan aapaka bhala kare’.

Dear Google, ‘God bless You’ can’t be translated as ‘Assalaamu Alaikum’; Netizens accuse google of serving Islamic content

A Controversy has arisen on social media over Google translation. Many people had shared screenshots and claimed that when they write ‘God bless you’ in English and translate that to Hindi, Google translate shows its translation as ‘Asalamu Alaikum’, which has no relation with the Hindi language.

Netizens accused Google of serving Islamic content in the name of Hindi translation and said that it should be translated into pure Hindi.

The Organiser Weekly also typed ‘God bless you’ on Google translation for a fact check, which translated ‘God bless you’ to us as ‘Assalamu Alaikum’.’

‘Assalamu Alaikum’ is a greeting method in the Arabic language. We often heard Muslims greet each other by saying ‘Assalamu Alaikum’, but it doesn’t mean God bless you.

‘Assalamu Alaikum’ or As-salamu Alaykum is a greeting in Arabic that means “Peace be upon you”, a religious salutation among Muslims while greeting. The word ‘Assalamu Alaikum’ came to India from Arab, and Indian Muslims adopted the same greeting process.

According to Muslim scholars, this is being done according to the hadith. However, one can lodge an objection or against this translation.

People are also saying on social media that if Google is showing its translation in the Arabic language in this way, then we should send it a response to Google with ‘Mahadev Raksha’ or ‘God bless you’ in Hindi.

Netizens have demanded the central government to take quick action on this and urged Prime Minister Modi to built Indeginious search engine under the Aatm Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan.
