“Religious fanatics have started a civil war in the country. Still, the mainstream news channels do not show the reality in the name of pseudo-‘secularism’!” said Suresh Chavanke, Editor-in-chief, Sudarshan News, at a webinar titled Anti-Hindu Journalism in the name of Secularism’ organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. More than 5,400 people participated in the event via YouTube and Twitter.

“It is not only in Mewat, Haryana that religious fanatics have persecuted the minority Hindus; many such incidents are happening across the country. A few years ago, a programme called ‘Mini Pakistan’ was shown on Sudarshan Channel; in which we had shown a thousand such places in India in it. There are nine areas where pizza is not delivered, and any house does not for online shopping in mewat. If the Police want to go, they have to be accompanied by paramilitary forces. Religious fanatics surround Delhi on all four sides. The situation in Delhi’s Seelampur is even worse than Mewat. Two days ago, around 200 fanatics in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, violently attacked members of the Yadav community. It involved everything from the attempts to rape women to kill them. The media does not consider the issue to be racial, but only that of law and order. However, it is a civil war that has broken out in many parts of the country, but the mainstream news channels do not show this under the guise of secularism”, said Suresh Chavanke.
Chief executive officer of the news site Opindia, Rahul Roshan, said, During the Delhi riots, religious fanatics first started violence and set the bus on fire. The mainstream media did not intentionally portray these incidents; however, we presented these incidents in front of the country. Therefore, the plot to implicate BJP leader Kapil Mishra as the main accused was foiled. The media also did not show that the riots were being carried out by saying, Muslims will be expelled from the country once the NRC and CAA are implemented.

Writer and columnist, Abhas Maldahiyar, Banglore had said that the mindset of communist journalists should be understood. Their objective is not anti-Hindu but anti-India. For this, they are first targeting and weakening the Hindu community and showing anti-India news. Once Hindu is weakened, the Leftist ideology can be established in the country.

Chetan Rajhans Assistant-editor, Sanatan Prabhat Periodicals, said, “Anti-Hindu media propagated that coronavirus was spread over the country by Kumbha Mela’; however, only 292 people were infected with coronavirus in Uttarakhand till March 31. Even at the end of April, the numbers were low.

On the other hand, during the Eid, Muslims flocked to many places across the country for shopping. Why didn’t the media hide all this from the public? Society needs to be told the truth. For this, patriotic and devout Hindu journalists should come together and unite.
