Guwahati: The incumbent Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal slammed Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren for his recent comments in social media outlet criticizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi as PM ‘only spoke about his baat but did not listen to issues relating to the Covid-19 situation.’

The literary translation of JMM chief’s comment narrates ‘today hon’ble PM called, he only spoke about his mann ki baat, it would have been better if he had spoken about business and listened to issues,’ which has already received a lot of flak from BJP leaders (also supporters) across the country.

“Hemant Soren-ji, it’s really unfortunate that you are trying to politicise PM Modi-ji’s concern and works for the people. Modi-ji’s every effort and action are dedicated to the people and nation,” said Sonowal in a tweet.
State health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma also reacted sharply to Soren, where he tweeted in Hindi that his tweet was not only against minimum respect (protocols) but also a mockery to the pain of people in Jharkhand itself, which remains a matter of concern for PM Modi.

Finally Sarma stated that Soren lowered the dignity of a chief minister’s post.
