A girl has allegedly been molested at the Tikri border in Delhi where farmers are protesting against the three progressive laws passed by the centre.
The incident occurred on April 26. The Haryana Police confirmed receiving a police complaint.
Farmer leader Mandeep Nathwani told CNN News18 that they had learnt about this complaint. He also added that rape hasn’t been confirmed yet.
He added that if the reports of arpe were confirmed, his organisation would raise voice against it.
The girl was admitted in the Civil Hospital in Bahadurgarh in Haryana.
This is not the first time when such an incident has happened in farmers protest.
Earlier, a young girl was heckled by the supporters of farmer leader Rakesh Tikait in his presence on the stage. Tikait did not do anything to stop it.
When the girl questioned Tikait, her mike was switched off and she was pushed down from the stage.
Earlier, a woman journalist was misbehaved with at the Tikri border.
Despite the second wave of Covid-19, the farmers have refused to call off their protest.
