Many of the international experts and diplomats have raised serious concerns about a resurgent Taliban exerting a stronger hold in Afghanistan, once the US and NATO troops withdraw from the war-torn nation.
At an event organised by the European Foundation for South Asian Studies on the sidelines of the 46th Session of UN Human Rights Council, many experts discussed the likely events that could happen in Afghanistan after the US troops pull out.
The experts also discussed the political history of Afghanistan. Most of them were of the opinion that pulling out the troops will eventually lead to an all-out civil war in Afghanistan.
