China, for the first time, admitted four Chinese soldiers were killed in the Galwan valley clash in June last year.
It revealed the identities of the four deceased soldiers.
A brutal confrontation followed when Indian soldiers objected to the illegal trespassing of the Chinese soldiers in the Galwan valley on June 15 last year.
Twenty Indian soldiers were martyred, including the Commanding Officer Colonel Santosh Babu of the 16 Bihar Regiment.
A week after the clashes, China admitted there were few casualties on their side too but said the numbers were not too high.
It also argued it’s holding back the numbers to avoid the flaring up of sentiments.
China never discloses anything about its military whether it’s budget, casualties or modernisation plans.
