Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair the 6th meeting of the Governing Council of NITI Aayog tomorrow morning via video conferencing.
 
All the chief ministers, Lt Governors/administrators of union territories, senior ministers of the union government, senior officers of the union government and NITI Aayog are expected to attend the meeting.
 
It will be for the first time that Ladakh will be participating in the meeting as a Union Territory, along with Jammu and Kashmir.
 
Agriculture will be the first on the listed agenda of the meeting. It will also discuss “infrastructure, manufacturing, human resource development, service delivery at the grassroots level and health & nutrition.”
 
The meeting of the council provides an important platform for the participants to discuss “inter-sectoral, inter-departmental and federal issues”.
