Selfless dedication is the driving force for Sangh workers: Dattatreya Hosabale

New Delhi: “Countless books have been written on the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and every book has its own significance. But when a book is written by a Sangh worker, the book has not only his experience with the organisation but also his deep feeling. That feeling is the driving force that makes innumerable Sangh workers to dedicate themselves to the motherland,” said RSS Sahsarkaryavah Shri Dattatreya Hosabale while releasing a book, ‘Meri Sangh

New Delhi: “Countless books have been written on the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and every book has its own significance. But when a book is written by a Sangh worker, the book has not only his experience with the organisation but also his deep feeling. That feeling is the driving force that makes innumerable Sangh workers to dedicate themselves to the motherland,” said RSS Sahsarkaryavah Shri Dattatreya Hosabale while releasing a book, ‘Meri Sangh Yatra’, in New Delhi on December 16. RSS Akhil Bharatiya Sah Sampark Pramukh Shri Ramlal and Director General of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) Prof. Sanjay Dwivedi were also present. The book has been published by Bhopal-based Pahale Pahal Prakashan.

Shri Hosabale said the selfless dedication and commitment to the work is the spirit that makes the Sangh workers different from the workforce of other organisations. He said a Sangh swayamsevak is always ready for the service of the motherland. That is why the Sangh workers are always ready for selfless service whenever there is a need. It has been witnessed on many occasions during any natural calamity, etc. He said the compilation of a Sangh worker’s experience is a document that inspires the young generation to join the national cause.

RSS Akhil Bharatiya Sampark Pramukh Shri Ramlal said the Sangh cannot be understood merely by listening about it but by joining it. He said whatever has been written in this book is the experience of an active worker who has dedicated many decades of his life to the national cause.

Author of the book, Shri Om Prakash Garg, said the book is not merely about him but is the compilation of his reminiscences while working with the Sangh, the inspiration which drove him closer to the organisation and the visionaries who inspired him to join the national cause. He has also explained in the book the need and significance of the RSS in the present context.

The foreword of the book has been written by Madhya Kshetra RSS Sanghachalak Shri Ashok Sahani. Some Sangh songs have also been accommodated in the book, which inspire and generate the national feeling among the readers. The book helps in understanding the functioning of the Sangh.
